I was on the 16 toward downtown with my music set on shuffle. Don't Think Twice, It's All Right was the last song I listened to before I got off the bus.
Clay was playing on Granville St when I saw him. We talked during a break until he was ready to play again. He asked what I wanted to hear. I said, "anything Bob Dylan or Johnny Cash." Clay's ears perked up and his eyebrows raised. "How about Don't Think Twice, It's All Right?" he asked.
He crouched down and shuffled through his bag. There was a harmonica he had just bought he was eager to use. Bob Dylan gave him the perfect opportunity. He began to play the classic and I listened as a small crowd stopped to listen around Clay.
